Age Regression

What we mean by age regression sadly isn't well understood by the wider public even if in the last ten years or so it has more of an acceptance by health professionals and people engaged more in the world of mental well-being.
I think the first thing we need to say is being in a child-like state of mind doesn't mean we are not cognizant that physically  we are that chronological age recorded by law and therefore governed by law, rules and to a point custom that apply to it.
To put it another way if we're over the age of majority then that does mean those things that are inappropriate  to be engaged in with an actual child still apply even if we see ourselves as being one still.
If as I did I started regressing in my teens elements of the same did come into play too even if then I was under the Minor umbrella cos somethings you may do at say sixteen aren't appropriate to doing around younger kids either.
It's no more a route into hurting kids than medicine, teaching, or being involved in any activity that may involve working with kids regardless of some of the ignorant comments you may read might suggest because boundaries still apply.
The second thing is there's no magical age of transition from play to 'serious' activity alone with many of things regarding social roles being formed out of economic necessity during the Industrial Revolution and the tendency in agricultural communities for everyone to pitch in doing what they could taking into account age to gather the crops in or work on garments to be sold to raise money.
The discovery of Childhood as we understand it today goes back to what Britishers would call the Victorian era, that's to say from the 1830's onward and the reaction to the previous eras seeing children as mini adults, being dressed as such, having to work and not being able to have time alone from adults to play.
If you look at the common driver of much of the legislation during this era it is to gradually reduce the hours and ages children worked, to provide for education and encourage a separate social life  for children alone through things such as play or crafts.
That space is created and then filled by children themselves.
Similarly for those of working age more free time has been made by law and custom so that even if of necessity we may work (and most of us do) then we too can play, explore or make things.
Age Regression is more a question of going back to that point in our lives as children  and acting on those feelings and interests we had and for a good number of us still have that we feel most comfortable with.
The only difference is some of those things are more associated with being a child even though we all know adults must be involved as they design toys, test out construction kits or even get paid to play with Lego.
For a good number of us we find going back to more of our past lives therapeutic, putting in a place mentally we feel more comfortable, at one with ourselves being able to BE ourselves and for some work through emotional issues too.

Play and what we play with

I'm feeling better this week so I thought I'd write something a little different than usual.
Something I started noticing several years back when I first started buying my own stuffies and especially dolls was a difference between what some bought them for and what I did before getting involved around the world of littles.
One of things I found odd was what I later called the "collectors mentality" where people bought them in the original packaging and kept them permanently in that state, boxed up at best on shelf or otherwise in a storeroom.
To me they seemed to see them as objects that admittedly they liked  but the bais was clearly on maintaining that collectors item look and monetary value to the point they weren't handled and cherished even if they were intended for children who would play with them.
Personally, I buy my dolls and stuffies to play with although my porcelain ones are because of their delicateness are more handled than played with.
I take them out to sit by, hug whenever I feel the 'need' to hug or carry on in my hand around the house or wherever I am staying. I create stories featuring them which I then play with in real time together freely.
That's for me apart from those 'special dolls' they are my toys which as an adult child I play with in much the same way that I did as a child and as some saw me recently even gently rocking a pram with dollies.
It's what I get from playing with them that matters more to me than that whole collectors thing.

Getting set to go

I don't know if we'll see this outside of the entrance to GHS on Friday but there is always something approaching the feel of camaraderie whenever we are together having fun together and yes if you hadn't worked it out I do look rather more like the girl of far left even if I'd happily lose a couple of inches in height.
You see unless you have actually spent time as a little or middle then as much as I'm of fan of online groups and clubs you are missing that face to face interaction with other age regressors being in effect children together playing with the spontaneity that brings, recreating that time and space when that was all that mattered.
Everybody's 'day' is bound to be different, we played with differing things, watch different things on tv and with the exception of "Smartphone culture", the thing is they have more in common with each other than you might think. That means however 'old' in terms of birth certificate age  you might be you're all around the same level which makes sense as childhood and from that childhood revisited is a space a person from a level of social, emotional, physical and intellectual development resides and that is how it is with me.
Being in with others is what I love the most and where I'll be this weekend.

A message from the Plushies

Been a bit busy tidying up this week removing magazines and the likes and  I thought I'd post about something we all like.
First off here's Lil'Simba in his dungarees showing us his "Oh man I'm really chilling" look although he's quite capable of giving us a Rawr! when he's in the mood. He'd like to meet his namesake in America, apparently.
Hello. My name is bunny rabbit as Joanne hasn't gotten around to giving me a name  which I think is a bit of a  swizz as she's had one ever since she was little (and she's not gotten any bigger xD!) and I 'd like a name please. Pretty please?

You thought Bunny Rabbit had it bad but I'm just called Bear even though I know she's gotten  a Theo IInd which is worse than not even having your porridge cooked on time which is shocking.
I think the girl was going through a bad patch when she had us, feeling depressed and just never got around to it although I'm glad she found us again.
I'm a girl bear and I'd like someone to give me a name so I can be a proper bear, like, so would you please find me one and let Joanne know? Thanks.

All change!

If anyone wondered why I seemed to be not around for part of last week that was because I received a unexpected message inviting me out so I spent  a bit of time altering some arrangements and quickly getting my travel organized.
Some people may be more inclined to think "I've my week planned out" and leave such an unexpected invitation  be but to me sometimes you're better just going with it not least because ultimately your life is the more richer for personal encounters and time spent together. They're the things that really matter.
So it was with that that I set off on a glorious sunny Wednesday morning to get the first of two buses to get to the train station getting aboard the Black Country bound train arriving at Wolverhampton to change to the local train network.
Having arrived I was then met by Auntie Andi who walked with me for a short distance to her car before arriving at her house and getting changed into my uniform.
For me, that is a key starting point because when I'm with friends that's very overtly little/middle time when any kind of masking of that innate littleness that's always in me in outside public spaces is completely off from then on.
I give full expression to the whole middle with a little side of me.
That's when I'm letting out and being that 10-12ish girl, engaged in her playing, colouring and other assorted interests pretty much to the exclusion of much else although I never relate to people as an adult anyway (it simply isn't there) so effectively you keep an eye on me more as that child, correcting as necessary and I accept your authority as the adult in charge.
It just works.
I came down the stairs with my  Rag Doll and colouring book making myself comfortable as we talked about various things over a cup of tea which I was able to hold okay as the other week I spilled hot tea on myself which didn't do me much good and meant I had to change my clothes so the others could be washed.
We were joined later on by Matron who'd no doubt of approved of my attire, talking some more and showing her some of my art stuff before it was time to eat with some music from the early 60's and 80's on in the background as Auntie Andi has her music stored digitally and just selects a Playlist to play rather than putting cds in a cd player. I like that idea and usually play digital music stored by hundred on cards, selecting albums on my portable music player.
We had home made beef stew with dumplings and vegetables which was very nice - I like traditional stews and hot pots - and desert which the least said about cream the better cos it's a big like of mine!
After some talking and colouring on my part Matron left ready to get some sleep in the next day and shortly afterward watching some furry convention videos, I went to bed surround by Princess Sophia the First and lots of plushies. I don't think lots of techno stuff is settling when it comes to getting your sleep in.
After a solid sleep which just the thing Middles like me really need and getting dressed, I read a bit of news resisting the urge to kick Mr Osbourne the next time I'm in Knutsford for his awful planned PIP disability allowance cuts and the Tape users Tapehead.net site before Auntie appeared with a drink and I got on with some more colouring while she dealt with important emails.
Andi cooked a full British breakfast  with fried bread and black pudding and egg which was super appreciated as that's something I only normally only have at weekends before she sorted out some work stuff and checked times for my trains back before I gathered my things up to make our way to the rail station.
Strange things can happen like we had a driver go awl at Birmingham New Street and when they found him we then had to wait for the signalman to gave his go ahead before we could move! Luckily it didn't mess up the connections so I had time to change from Platforms at Wolverhampton and a kind Afro-carribean woman helped me off the train before catching the one home which was on time.
The time I spent away did underline really why spending time together is such a important thing bettering time spent online and I'd like to conclude by thanking Andi for her hospitality and Matron for her company.

Advent edition

Well, it's a brand new Moth which by coincidence  also marks the start of the great countdown otherwise known as Advent which from childhood always was a magical thing aided by having a calender.
Way back then, they were card based  with you pulling back a flap to uncover various things and at least in our house, nominally religious in character.
This is a very nomable which is currently atop of a short floor standing bookcase facing the front room window cos I don't care anymore.
A middle lives in this house and does stuff like this apart from colouring her Frozen colouring in most days!
Just open a door each day, eat some chocolate and see the days before Christmas go before your very eyes.

The return of the school girl

Hi.
This is the first entry of September because I took a few days of from blogging cos I was going to be away for a few days so needed to use my time differently.
The first thing was packing cos I had a new once piece travel case as the handle on my old travel attache case broke which took some getting used to was it has a short compartment at the front for things like my tickets and timetables, a middle compartment for things I need immediately on arrival and a generous core for other things with a total weight capacity of 2.5 kg together with wheels to drag it around.
That meant I only that had my hello kitty hand luggage carrying bag which I kept Katie Kitten in as she helps me deal with social anxiety, cellphone, outbound ticket ready for inspection and hello kitty purse.
As we had had heavy showers up here, I did have my Peter Storm waterproof jacket with me too.
Given I didn't need to be out early I caught a later local bus to join the service calling at the North-west Midlands leading rail hub to travel down my friends.
I had a few damp moments between connections but despite warnings about signalling issues on the train, that went very smoothly with the train being on time so having come in at the station in this part of South Staffordshire, I was met and walked to the parking lot just beyond the station before a short car journey to their home.
Upon arrival I changed to my middle uniform a black tunic with a zip having my hello kitty slipper socks on over my white 3/4 white socks with bows.
Over the period I did a lot of colouring  taking my new pencils as well as my Frozen colouring with me to work on as well Lucy one of my dollies to play with which probably says a about why I spend my time with and at littles meets here in the UK.
It's to be in (for me) middle headspace, just enjoying things more associated with actual middles without the sophistication's or concerns of groan ups during that period, just some point where I'm focussed on small things  and not like being preoccupied with news or adult interests.
So it was a welcomed surprise to be working sat at a traditional school desk and chair in uniform  doing my colouring, something that mentally took me back in time, feeling very much that child in class in view of groan ups. It's a feeling I feel very comfortable with, bring back many memories  from my past.
This is so much me.
We had a lovely chicken roast and home made plum pudding for our evening meal enjoying a sing song and quiz in the evening until it was time for me to sleep on the couch in front of the fire which I quite like anyway.  It's the feline in me!
I had a good nights sleep after about twenty minutes ready for the next day.
I got up sometime around 7:30 which is actually a bit later than normal for me, had a wash and got dressed in good time for everyone to be up drink and talk.
As is my want I did play at being a cat making the appropriate movements with my paws and meowing between colouring.
We had a cooked breakfast that was much appreciated before I left to join my train on the way home.
After Auntie Andi had dropped me off at the station, I caught the 13:20 that calls at our rail hub and as I was feeling tired I got a taxi off the rank straight home to cut out the waiting in very good time, directing my driver who was from Mid-Cheshire.
Thanks to Jennifer and Susan (no other name or Gah!) for their cooking and hospitality and Auntie Andi for giving me  a lift back to the rail station,

The lead makes the colour...

Yeah I know, Tuesday isn't it but the groan ups mess my routine up yesterday that left me super tired  so yesterdays post comes a day later than scheduled and I might of gotten it done before bedtime had it not been for Marmalade playing hide and seek over over half an hour, tearing the lower floor of house apart trying to find him. Grrr.
Anyways, as you know Colouring is a pretty big thing with me and a large portion of us too but one problem I have is gripping and pressing on to pencils due to my disabilities.
It's no lie I can sometimes struggle to write me own name  at a times which makes colouring difficult as with most childrens pencils you need quite an impression to get darker shades and they can break real easy.
At the suggestion of Poppie, I decided to get some more pencils.
For one thing my pencils came in 12 colour pack so some of the colours I may need aren't there although I'm pretty good at blending colours to create say Fawn -some packs have different colour shades in them too - and these don't break so easy.
They're also designed  so you don't need to press much on them which is a very real boon for some of us and easier to blend.

A message from the past

Hi!
Something I am working through is the process of getting more in touch  more  with  my innerchild, her emotions and her past as recalled and expressed in her own emotional aged voice that can get buried in what may be more Big World problems.
I'm having fun engaging in child voiced play through which she expresses herself with other 'innerkids' doing the same just being themselves in their own world and exploring things.
Sometimes it's the past that holds the key to those things that continue to affect how you see things and shape your responses to given situations like the extent you feel you may trust another or feeling anxious socially.
And those things unless you deal with them run on into the present by with people directly involved in your life or wish to have at some future point too.
Getting to a point the past is better understood, the real lessons learnt being able to move on from those all too real road blocks is one of my main aims.
It's also clear from discussion elsewhere sometimes even your encounters as that little (or middle) at this point in your life may bring issues that may leave you sad or hurt emotionally by they feeling abandoned, receiving hurtful comments and the like that you may need to work through.

"I want to be a betterer girl"

I do wish I felt better today and will be resting after doing this but I woke up also with a bit of an idea for a post.

Sammy write something a few days back about her emotions and how she feels about herself the other day that struck a chord with me.
When we think of 'naughty' what we usually are thinking of is the girl (or for that matter boy) who is mean to others.
It may be that you set out to upset someone by saying unkind things about them and the things that matter to them, you pull their hair, pour paint all over their art or ruin their toys.
That might come from feeling insecure in the presence of someone who either is popular or who has something we feel ought to be ours and needs to denied the pleasure from them.
Most of us can relate to this either as one who did this the odd time or were on the receiving end of it and personally I get it both ways although it is many years since I last did anything naughty in that sense.
Sometimes arising from that childlike sense of wonder and excitement  we can more  thoughtless, we dash and maybe collide hurting each other when it would be more sensible walk slowly instead, we attempt to do something that sounds like fun but oblivious to risks involved for ourselves and others and so on.
On the the other hand there are other things that may have continued from an early age, such as not appreciating what others may do for us, feeling very much World must conform to and supply our immediate needs with a pout and a stomp.
You may feel the best way of getting what you want is shouting over anybody who has the audacity to question or just fail to give total support.
Although starting something can be daunting just putting things off because we'd sooner not or prefer to do more enjoyable or possibly have a lazy streak even doesn't help us and may not help those we are are close to like partners, work colleagues or friends who rely on us especially when we agreed to do them.
In effect sometimes we self sabotage things.
It's no secret to some of you I share some of these traits which I'm getting quite a bit of support in overcoming because they hold me back when I could be that much more effective and responsible.
There's nothing wrong in wanting to be a betterer girl if you're prepared to accept some growing pains and maybe your present issues aside you've the maturity to see it.
If that's you, go for it.

Favourite foods

A warmish bright morning here so after seeing quite a response to last Fridays post and I got another Bartok recording to enjoy on headphones or stereo via my Fiio music player, I thought I'd get around to doing todays.

"There are men, lots of men, lots of Gingerbread men" as Syd Barratt, the person who did so much to launch the rock group, Pink Floyd, in 1967 said in his very child-like composition Bike for their first album "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn"
No doubt those things from his childhood played a big part in his choice of imagery for much of that album and his solo work.
Anyway I just love Gingerbread men (was there ever Gingerbread women?) and I'm about to nom one with my tea!

Circling yet again around the sun edition

Recently it was my birthday although I never feel older because for medical reason's I've never and can't really grow up as in being an adult although I can be mature and learn some new things so inevitable birthdays for me are little.
This year was no exception except for the arrival of a couple of soft bodied dolls.

Although they're not as 'classy'  as some dolls, the little loves ones are pretty good value  and my version of 'Lucy' which is 14 inches in height  was the one on the left with the big pink bow coning with a nice dress and leggings.
A nice touch is that the eyes shut when she's on her back sleeping.

Elspeth may have a 'young pretender' for the throne!
That's 'Jessica' a 18 inch Gotz soft bodied creation which being that size it's easy to get new dolly clothes for such summer outfits and school uniforms to dress her in. Her box was a bit damaged but she's fine so I was able to get her at a discount as after all I have dolls to handle and play with rather than that sad boxed collectors stuff that sits on shelves gathering dust.
I had some money, a few cds and finally got the outstanding Christmas present from me brother!

Winter LG Camp 2015

Hi folks
As you'd of gathered from last weeks entry I was scheduled to be away for several days with my friends being ourselves as we find us so this weeks entry is kinda about that.
Although thankfully there are an increasing number of littles events popping up from munches to pre-schools for adults(!) to have fun playing and general socialize, the big one for many of us is the residential get together where we interact and generally play called Camp and specific to my circle it's the LG (adult  little girl) Camp of which are held in the United States and over here in Great Britain although some  folk cross National borders and oceans to attend both.
As with any kind of going away you need to pack things like toiletries, your clothes and bits and bobs such as  creams, pens and camera and this time I got it all done super quick by actually focusing on it thanks to the help I've been getting this year helping doing just that.
I took Charlie Bear, Amy the Hollyhobbie and Debbie dolls with me.
For me the journey began getting up at  6AM to get myself washed, dressed and fed ready to catch the the first bus off of our estate to the nearest main bus to the North-west Midlands leading rail station to catch the 09:19 to GHS Central to meet with the Head Girl of GHS.
She took me to GHS for a period where we talked about various things over cawfee(tm) and had a bit to eat before setting out to the Camps location in Southern England, a big listed building with humongous secluded grounds which is a great idea as we can just play and stroll out of doors.
The weather was a bit bad meaning speeds had to reduced  because of visibility and we had a few minor delays but we got their for just after 16:45 as the organizer has to do things with the person who we book it from first  so didn't want us in before 17:00.
Most people decided to order various Indian takeaway foods  and have a few folks go collect them but the Head Girl of GHS and myself like more traditional food so we had meat pie and vegetables,  she kindly cooked for both of us  that was done before everyone else's food arrived! The evening was more a free for all with people chatting as few people who hadn't been for a while were present this time and making a start on a big jigsaw on the table in main lounge.
On the Friday "The Bear" laid on a ballet class after breakfast where people could go through some gentle ballet moves and exercise, freeing up joints after spending time travelling although a couple had to stop partway through as they felt something 'twitch' but were okay afterward.
Two terrific members  of the group laid on a meat and cheese buffet for two days for our midday meal which was both very healthy and  scrumptious.
Slight detour in this report for a bit about me.
I wrote reams and reams about presentation several entries back how that ties into how I see me, that uniformed schoolgirl and we discovered what kind of works well on me at last years GHS party.
Well, here's the last dress I bought (I have a spare of it) as actually worn and as you may notice for the first time ever I'm actually wearing a tie, which is a very close relative of the one I had to wear at my junior school.
Newsflash! I did eventually learn to tie it reasonable well even with my amazingly bad co-ordination all by myself wearing all the time I was there.

I felt great wearing it and think it looks better.
Take a look at my avatar on this blog (and at certain sites) and look at the picture and the other thing you'll notice is on the right.
That's right a shield shaped Junior Prefect badge. I did quite a bit this camp to help out without having to be asked so maybe it's appropriate? I did feel stronger, able to deal with being responsible while having fun, laughing a lot and a bit more independent too.
I also played Frustration several times with the Head Girl
Anyway back the scheduled program where on Saturday afternoon one of number from the Netherlands, organized a super Treasure Hunt with lots of clues and other activities based around the story of Mary Poppins with us cast the children, that involved us drawing up a job advertisement for a Nanny, some drawing and flying a kite out of doors as well as running around a lot! Reading the clues soon gave away some clues to where we're from with two North American ac-cents mingled in with others(!!) and one puzzled about mine but hey seasoned readers know it's infamous in real life as it is forum posts.
Later on in the afternoon, the Head Girl treated us to a gen-u-wine all analogue film show of 'shorts' from the Turn of the wheel Rank organization film from 1964 about the changing nature of the railway (Steam being replaced by Diesel  locomotion) and replacing trams and older buses by new buses to the Laurel  and Hardy Towed in the hole comedy  via Ferdinand and the Bull and Le Pig-Al Patrol 'The Inspector' cartoon from 1967.
During a  break in the program for changing the reels delicious icecream  was served just like it was at our local movie theatres and a part of that whole experience.
I changed afterward for my pastel pink blouse and a Asos black crocodile print  skater skirt with tights for the reminder of the day.
Friday's evening meal was mainly a traditionally British things, namely Fried battered fish and chip (large wedge like things not to confused with fries some of us grew up with) although some had sausages and other things that like with that other 'takeaway' one person took the order which was phoned through for collection by two of group.
After a suitable period for food to go down, tidying up and loading up the dishwasher we had Disco set up in a big room until it was time for bed.
Saturday's activities started with a Arts and crafts session where with lengths of chain, beads and other craft kits you could drift in and make something so I made photo frame one that had my head attached to a female golfer with lots of stars.
Later on we had a couple of quizzes punctuated by the evening meal one being a rather hard but fun general knowledge quiz with even some photo id questions and a music quiz based around songs from movies mainly Disney related that involved play bits of music and identifying them. The team I was with for the general knowledge took top prize!
The home made Cottage pie with vegetables and rice pudding with jams we had on Saturday was amazing.
Sunday being the final half day was more a relaxation after getting ones bags packed for return watching the likes of Princess Sofia the First, Sponge Bob Square pants and Tom & Jerry before having a salad from the leftover food before leaving.
We left at quarter of 12and with a few minor delays and awful weather across much of the Midlands we arrived at GHS Central at 15:30 for me to catch the train back home.
As it was a Sunday and the local bus network don't run, I came out of the rail station to the Taxi rank to get a cab passing through our town to my estate so was back for 17:05.
I'd personally like to thank the Head Girl for fixing my meal on Thursday and taking me to and from camp.
I'd like to thank everyone who did things like put on activities, co-ordinate them, set tables, cleared up, made food as well collecting the monies and booking the venue.
Things only happen cos we actually make them!
Regards, Jo, Form 1EB

500th post

Do you know something? This happens to be 500th post here at the World of Joanne_chan which is quite a milestone (not a Millstone) in its history.
Indeed it almost never really got started between pressures from my career and having an early version of a blogging tool that was used for more mainstream "big" posts  and if you really want to know the truth, actually I'd of much sooner just had this one cos it's everything about me.
When I say everything, I mean starting with having this very much childlike (but not childish) little girl side that has never gone away , enjoying the simpler things of life like dolls, teddies, engaging in children's games and interests.
It's taken me to different places, meeting some remarkable people who share the same side mixed in with their more groan up side all trying to balance both sides of themselves and sometimes with having partners too.
It's also the only blog that deals with an important side of my life quite openly, that I am transgendered and how that taps into issues from my own childhood, having an inner girl child and has lead to me presenting as that female both at home and increasingly in the presence of others, something that has helped me an awful lot.
Our community, the alg community, has supported in its own way, me in all of this.
In this blog I do talk from time to time about things such as music, books and anime which have been great interests of mine for a while but in a different way, more from how they tie into my past and the child within me which sometimes by accident has occurred elsewhere as ultimately I can only be me wherever I may post.
To mark the occasion of this 500th post, the blog avatar as well as mine at GT and IK have been given a makeover to better reflect the feel and spirit of the school girl aged inner child as it comes out. We all know that's me.
Seeing it was inspired very much by the spirit of Little Karen Marie's blog I'll conclude by thanking her for her inspiration as well as that of other blogs I encountered in the early days of founding out what being an adult little girl was (and why it's me) and hope you'll join me in toast to the next 500!
Hugs, Joanne

Our day out

As kinda hinted at last week, the week was gonna be busy as I was going out twice and also has the effect of putting out of sync chronologically what should of been the next post but anyway after getting Chat  and Tumblr to work fine in Pale Moon, my default browser we come to this weeks post.
Going out had it's own ahem difficulties thanks to Cheshire East's decision to rapidly move forward resurfacing work requiring closing our main road off completely with very little notice so setting off required literally walking a mile and a bit through the fields to catch a bus to the areas super important rail station catching the train where upon its arrival I met with Jennifer.
Shock alert: I sent a text to Andi on the cellphone!
Traversing the road network in South Staffordshire isn't bad considering the population density outside of the peak hours obviously and it may surprise some but there are a  number of really nice buildings in the towns we went through such as St Peter's, the Parish Church of West Bromwich and the delightful Sandwell Nature Reserve.

All of this was enhanced by the brilliant sunshine and blue skies  on what had turned out to me a warm September's day.
(Above Miss Maisie bunny)
It wasn't long before we arrived at our destination and met with Andi.
Maisie and I  introduce ourselves, sorted our overnight stuff out and proceeded to read this weeks Beano comic  that we'd bought at the Station to the accompaniment of Jean-Michelle Jarre playing from a music server. I'll bet that beats getting up every 18 minutes to change lps!
Andi rustled up a most delicious home made Cottage Pie which was much appreciated while apart from talking about everything and anything including Camp, Andi treated us to hearing the original Captain Kremen  lp, that out of his head radio space fantasy of the DJ , the late Kenny Everett, in a series I remember well for the characters and amazing vocalizations.
I have this vague recollection of going to bed after changing into my kitty nighttime attire and brushing ones teeth sometime before Midnight and waking up around 7:30ish. Maybe it was the Elderberries??? Even Maisie was on that!
Before dashing off to catch the train back, Andi made a lovely cooked British breakfast complete with fried bread.
We'd like to thank Jennifer for the lift down and company as well as Andi for having us as we sure appreciate it all the way.

Millie and I's trip out

Hi Hi peoples.
Before we settle into the so hot we have to warned to stay in here's this weeks  entry.

Millie (above) and I went on an adventure this week that started as most of things do on a train from the big railway station near us after catching a couple of buses to get from our estate to it having package our bags the day before.
When we got to Stafford we encountered a girl around the ages of three to four who started to talk to us about her likes -Play-doh-,  why it was the door near the rest room went BANG! and all about the bus her Mommy and her were going to catch which was kinda fun. She just noticed us with our girlish stuff and started talking away!
When we arrived at our destination Jennifer took us on an exciting car trip across to that elevated part of the Midlands where Andi resides where fortunately Millie had a front seat view as our luggage went in the trunk of the car.
We had a bit of climb to Andi's home  as it's a bit steep but the views certainly do compensate for it even though you can see the trees swaying even on a less than really windy day. Needless to say it was a uniform day for me which I just love
One the best things for any of us littles is just being together face to face talking about anything and everything while playing plus Millie had a bit of a dance in her fetching uniform although later on by night time she was chilling out.
Andi is a great cook using gas no less - we have electric at our house - and made the most scrumptious beef Casserole with side vegetables which was followed by Apple Crumble with vanilla icecream that we like heaps.
As some of you might be aware I don't do alcohol for a lot of reasons we need not mention but enjoyed thoroughly an Eider pressed non alcohol wine like drink  during the evening.
After a sleep surrounded by teddies, I woked up sometime around 7 which is late by my norms to have a cooked breakfast which isn't something I generally have during the week which was lovely and much appreciated as I would be travelling across meal times.
We left with Andi kindly giving us a lift  and were able to catch a train back from the Station without much of wait as the train due didn't need us to take the lift to a platform. Instead we could just cut through the concourse and straight onto platform 2 and make our connecting buses.
We'd like to thank Jennifer for her company and lift as well as Andi for hospitality, wonderful food and generally making us feel at home.

Bonds

There's a couple of posts in mind before I next go off for a couple of days one of which may be a bit more technical but anyway here's the first.
Well, I can remember doing this, carefully wrapping each strand of wool around the circle almost in a trance before making the final turn followed by fastening off and cutting both at Grans and also in school as they were rather into art and crafts.
Talking with some of you on Tuesday's chat kind of reminded me about these things and some ideas around how we learn about each others personality, interests and needs of which the act of playing together I feel is important be it a word based imagination in chat or face to face where we may play with things as that's where it happens.
Sharing is super important cos it makes what people have go further and it help to build bonds between people cos we share and play together so it's nice to bring something with you when we do get together so we all can do that.

Up, awake and socializing

It's true I have a somewhat relaxed approach when it comes to some daily routines compared to others and this might be connected with being more child-like.

This could of easily of been a weekend on a school vacation just casually lounging having gotten up fixing a quick breakfast socializing and I did read in my teens while doing this although my folks were really fussy-strict about getting fully dressed when you were awake  and never wearing your pj's when you're up.
I am sometimes unthinking when it comes where I rest my feet and that so sometimes I feel I could use a bit of "Feet off the table" grown up authority.
