April Fools Day

A new Moth indeed and a white rabbit goofing about for good measure which I suppose Mr Bunny has every right to I guess.
The Egg is no more I'm afraid being nom'd right down to the Butterfly but then there's always another year and another Egg.
We all have pasts, some good others not so good but the important thing is how we can reconcile our pasts so we can move forward not be defined just by them alone.

Easter Monday Edition

It's still the Easter vacation as I write this so this edition is going to be about a number of things that kind of connect.
The first thing is I am continuing with my study which isn't by any means easy having just done a English practice exercise based on an extract from "The Sea Raiders" by H G Wells who I suspect writes above my innate comprehension level. The fact this is supposed to be set for 11 to 14 year olds may give you an insight into just how real my problems actually are and why it's progress that I'm sat at  desk in uniform doing this not throwing it back at you!
I've got a whole Math unit revision  to complete too based on all the work I've done so far this year before moving on Shapes which just to ensure I have a hope in heck of having gotten the foundations to get right.

The other thing in part connected to this is after a few delays with the  Chinese New Year Vacation season, a self fastening striped tie is here for junior me.
I did spend a bit of time watching dvds between noming the Eggs with Marmalade including Inside Out and now he wants to go out in the rain!
The other thing is a site I originally found many years ago ago finding about the World of Adult Little Girls making posts on and what made them so different finding a few people I eventually discovered had accounts at GT, sent a message to say it was going put on indefinite pause and inviting people to download their posts but sadly not any comments you made on other peoples posts or messages with no new members being accepted and not be able to log into it after April 21.
Most people I feel rightly are reading that as closure keeping posts up until their server  space is no longer paid for and it all goes.
Although it's owners have said the drift toward mobile working by social media users, often contradictory legal requirements from different jurisdictions to uphold and a lack of much need money brought about this, I feel and a number agree some things such as allowing teens in, discontinuing popular with core users story titles, tags and editing and trying to make it more like Twitter meets Facebook wasn't satisfying older users while also bringing newer ones in.
On the other hand, a delayed acceptance for another more agreeable site was received and more working on full form posts is likely from me which will be the the new life from the old.

Nomtastic Nom's!

Oh yes, it's that time of the year although for some of us it has other religious significance too but for a good many it is a fun time, playing hunt the easter egg, hunting for Fudge, sorry make that the Easter Bunny as she hides them away.
But I've my own BIG one...
That's Marmalade on the far right who cannot have human chocolate ever next to Miss Flutterby a butterfly on an egg from Derbyshire's finest chocolate maker cos the Midland's the bestest part of England!
If I get my paws all sticky Mommy will wipe them with a dish cloth something else that hasn't changed from official childhood.

All change!

If anyone wondered why I seemed to be not around for part of last week that was because I received a unexpected message inviting me out so I spent  a bit of time altering some arrangements and quickly getting my travel organized.
Some people may be more inclined to think "I've my week planned out" and leave such an unexpected invitation  be but to me sometimes you're better just going with it not least because ultimately your life is the more richer for personal encounters and time spent together. They're the things that really matter.
So it was with that that I set off on a glorious sunny Wednesday morning to get the first of two buses to get to the train station getting aboard the Black Country bound train arriving at Wolverhampton to change to the local train network.
Having arrived I was then met by Auntie Andi who walked with me for a short distance to her car before arriving at her house and getting changed into my uniform.
For me, that is a key starting point because when I'm with friends that's very overtly little/middle time when any kind of masking of that innate littleness that's always in me in outside public spaces is completely off from then on.
I give full expression to the whole middle with a little side of me.
That's when I'm letting out and being that 10-12ish girl, engaged in her playing, colouring and other assorted interests pretty much to the exclusion of much else although I never relate to people as an adult anyway (it simply isn't there) so effectively you keep an eye on me more as that child, correcting as necessary and I accept your authority as the adult in charge.
It just works.
I came down the stairs with my  Rag Doll and colouring book making myself comfortable as we talked about various things over a cup of tea which I was able to hold okay as the other week I spilled hot tea on myself which didn't do me much good and meant I had to change my clothes so the others could be washed.
We were joined later on by Matron who'd no doubt of approved of my attire, talking some more and showing her some of my art stuff before it was time to eat with some music from the early 60's and 80's on in the background as Auntie Andi has her music stored digitally and just selects a Playlist to play rather than putting cds in a cd player. I like that idea and usually play digital music stored by hundred on cards, selecting albums on my portable music player.
We had home made beef stew with dumplings and vegetables which was very nice - I like traditional stews and hot pots - and desert which the least said about cream the better cos it's a big like of mine!
After some talking and colouring on my part Matron left ready to get some sleep in the next day and shortly afterward watching some furry convention videos, I went to bed surround by Princess Sophia the First and lots of plushies. I don't think lots of techno stuff is settling when it comes to getting your sleep in.
After a solid sleep which just the thing Middles like me really need and getting dressed, I read a bit of news resisting the urge to kick Mr Osbourne the next time I'm in Knutsford for his awful planned PIP disability allowance cuts and the Tape users Tapehead.net site before Auntie appeared with a drink and I got on with some more colouring while she dealt with important emails.
Andi cooked a full British breakfast  with fried bread and black pudding and egg which was super appreciated as that's something I only normally only have at weekends before she sorted out some work stuff and checked times for my trains back before I gathered my things up to make our way to the rail station.
Strange things can happen like we had a driver go awl at Birmingham New Street and when they found him we then had to wait for the signalman to gave his go ahead before we could move! Luckily it didn't mess up the connections so I had time to change from Platforms at Wolverhampton and a kind Afro-carribean woman helped me off the train before catching the one home which was on time.
The time I spent away did underline really why spending time together is such a important thing bettering time spent online and I'd like to conclude by thanking Andi for her hospitality and Matron for her company.

Music on the go

The idea of music on the go or at least wherever I was sat always had that kind of an appeal with me simply cos I don't feel like being confined to one space to enjoy it in much the same way I loved it when having gotten my first laptop I could pretty much use it anywhere convenient to me.
The first truly portable devices were tape based  although quite a number of smaller radios did have earphone sockets as the one I had during high school did which I used a lot and I can recall my second best friend at high school getting her tape device, it was a Sony Walkman quite well with a mains unit which in some ways restricted the idea of being just anywhere but in the days before rechargeable batteries were common, I could see the savings over changing the batteries every ten or more hours.
The first one I got was around 1985 having gotten that other entertainment essential of that era , the large stereo radio-cassette recorder to listen to the radio on and play your tapes on and mine was an Aiwa.
It was this, an Aiwa HG-G35 which automatically changed tape sides when you came to the end of one and resumed playing the other which was a great boon not least when you were walking around although I always had to have a grown up with me anywhere near roads cos apart from the risks of not hearing traffic, my road sense is poor anyway.
It had a tape selector in case had tapes made on anything other than regular type I  tapes and a three band equalizer to alter the tone with if you needed to and on the  tapes I made you didn't.
The mechanism unlike later models was nearly all metal.
It actually sounded really quite good on a pair of good quality headphones, much better than a later Sony one I had did.
I had  rather a lot of cute paper based self adhesive animal stickers on the front of mine that phazed some folks when I worked and a good indicator of how even in public my Middle with a little side was coming out even then but I wasn't bothered listening to Rush,Duran Duran and Five Star albums on Maxell type II tapes during breaks.
These days I have my Fiio player that plays digital files on Micro SD cards which technically is better but I loved the simplicity of that player.

Bouncing about

It's been an odd week for emotions which at times it can be  with me cos when I really feel things then it just is sometimes to the exclusion of much else and there's a lot of that "help out your playmate" in me that shows when she's in need of it.
That took me back a bit in time mentally...
Time was when skipping just for the fun of it was one of my favourite activities outside of any formal games or PE usually involving a traditional knotted rope with wooden handles that actually I kept up until I was about sixteen.
Part of it I think was being in control of my body, making it move which with my disabilities is hard going as it feels often like there's several internal wires missing carrying that information so I can't 'summon' it to move to will, something that perplexed many an adult.
Actually I got pretty good at it.
The other side of it is it makes me feel very girlish, just jumping and skipping from side to side in a carefree way and I think I'm in need of carefree spaces so something like that say at next Camp might just be the thing ideally in pink gingham.

Around the snow edition!

The number of times a period of fifty-two weeks elapses in my life is considerable but in truth I'm never really older is in feeling simply because I am incapable of getting older that way and in lots of ways in real life more than perhaps for some through age-play, I remain forever young.

This return trip saw me have a good number cards from family and relatives although because here in the UK because they had Mothering Sunday on the same day that meant not just more going on it meant both Mom and I being at a joint meal.
There's a down to earth local public house here within a few minutes walk that often has people we know in so we went for a joint meal where I opted for Vegetable soup, a Turkey Roast  and Chocolate Fudge Pudding with ice cream which was delicious.
I had a couple of books by my favourite living authoress
A modern retelling of What Katy Did that I kinda missed out on reading for some reason or other
The latest part in the Hetty Feather historical adventure series that came out late last year in big book aka Hard Back form.
They arrived by courier less than half an hour before I was due to go out!!!
I had some money from my folks a brother and an aunt which can diverted to something appropriately little and some Amazon vouchers from my older brother that I'll need to look at how to get them to my account as techno stuff just loses me at times.

I had also like a good number of Middles and Littles  the Disney animated full length emotion movie Inside/Out on dvd and a few cds although I tend to get them through across the year whereas when I was younger they tended to be more things I had at birthdays and Christmas's
I'll conclude by thanking my friends on various sites for their birthday wishes.
