Getting beyond differences

In the week where I haven't been feeling too great between the thing I've had and what I've needed to take to deal with it I've had enough opportunity to reflect upon much of the discourse that's polarized society, heightened sensitivities and turned former friends into enemies.

It is rare for matters to be absolutes with often common ground existing between sincere advocates on each side of an argument and even when not perhaps more of us should reflect upon the reality that each is actually a human being, deserving with being treated with respect.

 There is something much bigger at stake and when we forget that the consequences for all of us are massive.

It doesn't matter what your race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion (if any) or politics are, we need to find a way through all of this that is respectful of each other as people first and foremost.

Age Regression and Tumblr

From the owner of ThatSmolGirl10, A note about my other sensational tumblr, That Boarding School Girl which was formed after several false starts in a number of reasons as being slightly more mature schoolgirl regression with kawaii and fashion posts mirroring one I had in the mid 2010's until it got axed.

It's the Tumblr that mirrors the external blog of the same name apart from not have any polly ticks on it where links to this and the other blog go in turbulent world at that site so it's probably as well anything of consequence is on an old school blog.

And I might add that Easter Bunny egg is no more as it's in me tummy!

Not for what at times feels like the hundredth time we are going around that cyclical Tumblr discourse around Age Regression, terms and inter community strife so while I was supposed to be resting I'll talk a bit about it off site.

Our differences are about our comfort zones, what we see certain disputed terms as meaning  and never at individuals on the AgeRe Camp, Sensitive Regression and Kidhearts side who are regressing because for personal reasons, like us they need to.

That's what this regression thing is actually about for all of us a means of coping with stress, trauma and certain conditions and disabilities, finding that child within and yes being comforted as many of us feel like we're headed for a meltdown.

We use different words to describe that space we enter in - heartspace, little space,Tot Space  etc are different -but the space we are in, how we feel in it and what we do is the same. 

Indeed if we could look at pictures of what we are all doing we'd see the same things and sadly that is what has gone missing in the last three years of Age Regression discourse on Tumblr as all of us who wanted a break from any kink stuff while we are regressing not least if you're a Minor created or found communities.

It's like there's a whole plethora of communities some allied to clubs that basically are about the same thing just disagreeing terms and setting up picket fences to keep out those they feel may invade 'their' tags or attract the attention of those who are engaged in sexual, 18+ nsfw or kink  via a reblog.

The thing is through those people who are likely to host any kind of explicit material are less likely to that concerned that your community or mine don't want them  as you find as I do porn blogs and kink blogs attach themselves from time to time regardless or reblog your posts even if you stick a DNI on it.

You see while I strongly supported the move toward Age Regression spaces on Tumblr especially for minors and still do, for all the differing communities we made, each and every time we tried by changing our terms, making new tags that hasn't given us the totally safe haven we needed as so many did and still do mix their kink, ddlg, age play in with our stuff or decided to follow, ignoring our boundaries.

Indeed it seems the very attempt to cure this by ever stricter rules about the terms and tags we use doesn't so much solve this but leads to greater suspicion and animosity between differing communities who as I said before are doing the exact same thing.

Then we have what are seeing more of attempts to tell people who don't belong to any Community who they can interact with or face being told they cannot interact with community and clubs x, y and z any more.

That's just adding to the problem because what are individuals who regress should only need to concerned with the boundaries of other individuals they chose to interact with.

That is one reason why I am saying to people who are not in communities on the Age Regression Society side (or left) who are 100% safe for work, non sexual age regressors I have no issue with you following or following you cos we're doing the same thing even though I use Cglre terms.

The Tumblr Purge of 2018

One thing I did not anticipating have to write on the build up to Christmas is the 2018 Tumblr Purge that kicked off around November 19th that followed Apple Inc removing the Tumblr app from the iStore around concerns over child pornography that was found and access to adult content on a platform that allows it provide you flag it up as "Explicit".
Let's make one one thing plain before we begin:  sexualizing childhood, the posting of sexual images of children often arising from sickening abuse has no place at all in a civilized society and those that do post them are complicit on this.
Tumblr has every right to remove content, terminate accounts and  in certain cases hand over details to child protection agencies those engaged in it as they feel fit.
The problem here is there is no replacement for human judgement when it comes to what is explicit but lawful and what is not - it is what a judge in a court of law looks at in such cases - but because Tumble has a low staff to user ratio it uses algorithms often in the form of scripts to just take out anything that *might be*  automatically.
This seems to have resulted in a good many tumblrs correctly marked and tagged as explicit but lawful and permissible under Tumblr's rules being removed as they took out whole accounts rather than reviewing individual blogs.
That wasn't my main concern in writing this though it's the other things Tumblr is doing that come closer to home.
Age Regression is a popular activity, form of therapy and coping mechanism for people who suffer from traumas, mental illness and developmental disabilities with associated emotions.
In general we do more child-like things outside of that we cannot help such school, college, work and so  such as play, colouring, reading stories and hugging our plushies.
There are many communities on Tumblr devoted to this where people post coping tips, images they find calming, running clubs with activities and so on.
It is entirely non-sexual and any kind of carer role is paternal having non of Dominance and submissive side that applies to DDlg and its gender neutral CG/l equivalent.
It is by design minor friendly and safe for work being free from anything 18+. 
Tumblr decided to remove a raft of tags and that included amongst others that of the Cglre age regression community meaning it is no long possible to search by that tag for posts about that age regression community.
This means any minor who did search by looking under Age Regression risks seeing minor unfriendly posts and is less likley to find what they need.
Many of us of all ages have sent an open letter to Tumblr staff and support explaining what cglre is, how it helps us and why we feel they have made a mistake in regarding us as in any way sexual or kink related.
I joined in simply because a community we do not deserve it, we keep ourselves non-sexual, minor friendly  and take an active part in stopping anyone who would harm children.
We are therefore playing a responsible role in helping the site keep this material off it and yet they are lumping us in with it.
I do hope they reconsider this action and credit us with the responsibility we have shown and the care we take in helping each other cope with our traumas and disabilities.
In the meantime those of us in Cglre are voting on another name and main tag to use should  it prove necessary as having something that cannot be searched and is regarded by Tumblr as nsfw isn't helpful as much as we'd sooner not have to spend our time on it accepting too it is unsettling for people.
