A girl like you - therapy?

Life as a girl can be difficult coming from a drab male background when as things were then very different, the product of two different systems entirely.

Really the best thing for you may well be total immersion into femininity with your hair restyled, brushed and in bows ready to be put into a pretty soft party dress so you get used to expressing the real you.

It would be a pity to waste a pretty dress without wearing some soft satin frilly panties which are fair more comfortable than scratchy boys ones.

Some cute ankle socks with frilly tops  just completes the look for a day totally out of anything in the boy zone.

A girl like you - 2

Past glimpses
Having hand made dresses and skirts

In the meadow picking Daisy's with care but feeling carefree playing for hours on end with your friends.

Winning your place in the school cheerleader team on merit and enjoying every moment shaking your pom-poms.

A girl like you - I

Where did they come from some might say as you raced around the floor wondering what all this stuff you didn't appear to get along with was really doing here?

Really you knew in head something wasn't right as how you saw yourself in the mirror when there weren't lots of people at home was really rather different than how many of them saw you.

That mirror was magical.

You were feminine whatever the doctors said and how other people tried to treat you and really why shouldn't I be feminine, which is how I am on the inside anyway.

That's how the little me really is, every inch the Young Lady even if we may have play clothes for more rougher play.

At the end of the day that is what you are, Girl.

A Girl however you got here.

Fashion Musings

Cute need not be all frills or dresses whatever you might see at various places or be told and particularly in littles circles either as actual bio-kid girls aren't and don't.
Take these jeans for example. Denim for instance is usually seen more 'boyish' material no doubt for being made into the jeans that boys and men in the frontierlands worked in for its hard wearing qualities.
But actually these are so cute that they go even a little beyond even tomboyish sorts like me with the ever popular and uber cool Hello Kitty motifs especially as show they are teamed up  with matching cute over the shoulder bag.
There's no denying it's...feminine.

Cut out fun

This is what I loved doing back in the 1970's, cutting clothes to dress the girl in.

New year, new blog

I say, just like in the story of Cinderella a stage coach has just pulled outside my house to whisk me away for the message the Mice have bought is this year is to be my year, the year I come out and it starts today, New Years Day.
My adventures start from today and I'll be writing about them on this new blog which is something after last years events I've been thinking of.
Will you be following me?

Pre blog IIII - Christmas reflections

It's Christmas and I am sat next to this rather old computer my brother assembled a few years back as he gets through PC's like some folk get through cars - he has to update them every 12 months or so - while I keep them until they drop pieces on me.
It's hard to believe my Nan has been dead for just over a year and this time of year is difficult as Christmas for me always meant having family around, talking and playing with you as well as obviously sharing food so it all comes back to me.
This year though although I've had some more groan up things like an organizer, it's really been the small gifts like toy bears and cute socks I've really enjoyed and that makes sense to me because what makes me feel secure.

Although it came out in the summer I got the re-issued cd version of  Jeff Wayne's Musical War of the World that originally came out when I was at school in 1978 and featured the hit song Forever Autumn by Justin Hayward.
It was cross between an audio adaptation with Richard Burton narrating the H G Wells novel but with a disco orchestrated musical background with songs.
This has been remixed and like some Rolling Stones discs I bought just over two years ago are super audio cds that play on my cd ordinary player. I don't know if I'll get a super audio one of them, mind.
Getting back to myself, this years been a rollercoaster for me, feeling like screaming at all the hours I've been expected to do losing so much of my time that it's the child like things I've been craving for increasingly.
I'm having my childhood back and I am thinking about making a space on this internet thing to jot it all down.
