Fairy Tail 4

Slowly getting somewhere with this rotten cold and other nasty stuff.
There's an anime series I've been following but as I kind got the sums wrong in January I didn't get around  to picking up the last installment until late last week!

It's a light hearted story of a guild as scene through  the eyes of a runaway girl  Lucy Heartfilia.  A boy she meets in a nearby town, Natsu Dragneel , and his talking cat, Happy,  appear to hold the key to her dreams who joins a group of wizards.
This set, the 4th, contains episodes 37 thru 48 starting with the conclusion over the first four and a half episodes of the Tower of Heaven arc with Erza and her friends are in a race against time to defeat the assassins of Trinity Raven as well as Erza's former friend Jellal before the Magic Council unleash the power of the Etherion to destroy the Tower and everything around it.
The remaining seven and a half episodes of this collection take us through the whole of the Fighting Festival arc. Upon their return Lucy, Natsu and the others from Magnolia, they discover that the rebuilding of the guildhall has been completed and there are some new members for the guild as well. Magnolia is preparing for the annual Harvest Festival, leading to everybody in the guild being excited but things soon turn nasty when Laxus, Makarov's grandson , crashes the party and sets into motion a battle that could tear the guild apart .

In other news this week I got my prize for the GT art competition so thanks Arcee.

Rabbit time.

Ha! Rabbit holes mean different things to different people I guess such as my part of Cheshire  has lots of them thanks to the Brine salt mining heritage that left us with that sinking feeling.
Alice this last week a friend of mine online had her Rabbit moment when a pet rabbit escaped so covered from head to toe in Alice attire, she goes to find it only to be seen by the mailman. He's not phazed by it!!!  I once had a pet rabbit with a long run too.
Alice has also been an inspiration for many a manga or anime too either as a whole theme or sole character.
I love this illustration a lot so while slowly recovering from a rotten illness I thought I'd share it with you while Beaconsfield fights it out  to mark (or not) the 75 years since Enid Blyton moved into that Buckinghamshire town.

The fox report

Oh hewwo there peoples. I was seriously zonked out yesterday with one thing and another so much so I wasn't sure if I'd be up to posting anything today but anyway I got past the night.
Some of us may remember seeing something with a bright bushy tail when we were younger and also some of us have seen the 'real' thing.
Boom! Boom! Yes it's Basil Brush the anthropomorphic red fox star his own BBC TV show starting in 1968 though 1980 and in a slightly different form from 2002 through 2007.
A somewhat mischievous sly creature he was really funny taking the mickey out of his fellow characters in the series with some measure of his popularity being how many times he was referenced in other British tv shows. Whenever he was on tv I couldn't stay still!!!

Unfortunately real foxes has been in the news in the last few days with one ripping off the finger of  baby when it entered a house in Bromley, Kent resulting in sensational articles appearing in the popular press.
Everyone can understand the distress the mother felt when she discovered this but what need to remember here is, the fox got in through an insecure rear door that the Council hadn't repaired and this door could easily allowed anything a cat, dog or even child snatcher in.  All would of put the baby at risk. Had it not been for the Councils inaction, the baby would not of been injured.
Mr Fox is who he is  and he will come looking for food near humans so we need to make sure our doors and windows don't allow him in, don't leave him dinner outside and in some areas the numbers may need to be controlled in the absence of natural predators.
He's just being himself and certainly isn't evil.

Making things

A kind of a craft entry this week as I've been making a few things between playing, running errands and other stuff.
One thing I did was make some electronic booklets for a number of albums usually box sets I bought from music download stores. Normally when you get one these as a cd or even tape, you have booklet with pictures, songlists and some information about the artists but download versions missed these off.Odd as many today are originated on a computer in PDF form and it wouldn't hurt to have included them so they could be read on a computer or electronic book reader.
It really helps to know what's on them apart from anything else.
So I spend time getting the album art, typing lists and getting useful tidbits of information, marshalling them to a several page document neatly so they were no awkward page breaks and then converting them to PDF form.
I then put a copy in each box set album folder.
I also drawed a picture!
